NADP Essay Competition 2025

The National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) is proud to announce the launch of its Pan India Essay Competition, aimed at raising awareness about Munitions India Limited (MIL) and NADP among engineering and technical students. This initiative provides an exceptional platform for 3rd and 4th-year engineering and technical students to exhibit their innovative thinking and creativity in critical areas of defence and ammunition technologies. Participation is free, and essays must be submitted online through this Google Form by 31st March 2025.

Competition Details:

Eligibility: 3rd and 4th-Year Engineering/Technical Students (Student ID required).

Entry Fee: No fees.

Deadline: 31st March 2025.

Word Limit: 3000-5000 words.

Essay Topics (Choose One):

Innovative Approaches to Ammunition Design/Manufacture/Testing.

Smart Ammunition/Drone Delivered Munitions: Enhancing Precision and Effectiveness.

Digital Transformation for Modernizing Ammunition

Systems in the Value Chain.

Essays must be between 3000-5000 words and adhere to APA citation format. Submissions will be evaluated for content quality, originality, practical applicability, language proficiency, and overall flow by an esteemed panel of judges. Plagiarism checks, including detection of AI-generated content, will be conducted to ensure authenticity.



Awards and Prizes

The competition will recognize outstanding submissions with the following prizes:

  • Best Paper: ₹10,000 (1 prize)

  • Second Prize: ₹7,000 (1 per topic, 3 prizes total)

  • Third Prize: ₹5,000 (2 per topic, 6 prizes total)

  • Top 25 Papers: Certificates of Commendation

This competition is closely aligned with India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, encouraging students to explore innovative defence solutions. It offers a platform to engage with real-world challenges in defence, helping students develop critical problem-solving and research skills.

Educational institutions are encouraged to promote this competition by displaying it on their notice boards to motivate maximum student participation. Through this initiative, NADP reinforces its mission to nurture future defence innovators, contributing to India’s self-reliance in defence technology.

PGDM (BM) 2025-27 Admission Process

Program Start Date: 3rd week of August 2025

Application Deadline: 31st March 2025

Eligibility: A minimum of 3 years Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

Valid scores from CAT/CMAT/MAT/MHCET/NADP Entrance Test

Academic performance (X, XII, and UG degree)
