"NADP Hosts Vidarbha Management Association for ""WALK THE TALK"" Event NAGPUR, INDIA"

September 2, 2025 –National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) successfully hosted members of the Vidarbha Management Association (VMA) for an exclusive event, "WALK THE TALK," on Sunday, August 31, 2025. The program was designed to provide the esteemed VMA members with firsthand insights into the intricacies and challenges of India's defence production sector. More than 50 members and office bearers of VMA participated in the program.

The event, held at the NADP's Bhabha Hall, provided a comprehensive overview of the nation's defence manufacturing capabilities. The morning began with a welcome speech, followed by the screening of documentaries on NADP and the manufacturing processes at Munitions India Limited. The attendees were then given a guided tour of the Technical Exhibit Center, where they had the opportunity to interact directly with Dr. J P Dash, Principal Director of NADP, and Mr. N. Raghuraman, a consultant and faculty member at the academy.

A key highlight of the program was an insightful session on the 'Challenges in Ammunition Manufacturing' delivered by Dr. A.S. Khan, Retd. General Manager and adjunct faculty at NADP. The session provided a deep dive into the technical and logistical complexities of the field, which was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session. The event concluded with a visit to NADP’s unique Philately Centre, offering a glimpse into the history of defence through philately. Event was coordinated by Dr Indu Mazumdar, TPO and Faculty NADP.

The "WALK THE TALK" event successfully bridged the gap between India's defence establishment and its leading management professionals, fostering a greater appreciation and understanding of the nation's strategic manufacturing ecosystem.
